About the Australian Insider Risk Centre of Excellence

The Australian Insider Risk Centre of Excellence (AIR CoE) is a national initiative that tackles insider threats through a combination of research, training and collaboration. It serves as a central hub for expertise, bringing together government, Defence, critical infrastructure, academia and industry to develop practical, evidence-based approaches to insider-risk management.

Recent Highlights & Initiatives

Established in 2022 under the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre, AIR CoE continues to expand its reach across Defence and critical-infrastructure sectors. Founding partners include DTEX Systems, McGrathNicol and MITRE Corporation, ensuring global expertise informs local practice.

AIR CoE’s Insider Risk Masterclass, as undertaken by WorkSec, is a three-day event designed to enhance insider-risk management capability and strengthen professional networks across sectors.
