About the ADM 30 Under 30 Awards

About the Awards

The ADM 30 Under 30 Awards shine a spotlight on the rising stars of the Australian defence sector – professionals aged 30 and under who are making significant contributions across engineering, logistics, technology, project management, policy, and more.

Hosted by Australian Defence Magazine, the awards recognise the diversity and talent that underpin the industry’s strength. They highlight not only technical skill but also the passion, innovation and ethical leadership required to drive Australia’s defence capability forward.

Through these awards, ADM and its partners aim to build visibility for young professionals who often work behind the scenes, strengthening Australia’s defence supply chain, advancing innovation, and supporting the ongoing transformation of the industry.

Why It Matters

At WorkSec, we believe that the long-term health of the defence and national security sectors depends on the people entering and shaping them today. Supporting the ADM 30 Under 30 Awards allows us to recognise those who bring fresh ideas, modern thinking and a deep sense of responsibility to the mission of national security.

Our core focus – governance, trust and people – aligns perfectly with the purpose of the awards. These emerging leaders are not just technically capable; they embody integrity, collaboration and resilience. Their work drives both capability and culture – and that’s something WorkSec is proud to stand behind.

We also see the ADM 30 Under 30 Awards as a platform for diversity and inclusion within the defence industry. By showcasing young professionals across all disciplines, backgrounds and career stages, the program reflects the broad talent that makes Australia’s defence ecosystem stronger and more dynamic.

Through our sponsorship, WorkSec aims to help foster a professional community where young people feel valued, supported and inspired to lead with purpose. In recognising these achievements, we celebrate not just individuals, but the collective future of Australia’s defence workforce.
