PTSD Resurrected

PTSD Resurrected is a veteran-founded charity dedicated to helping individuals and families recover from trauma and rediscover purpose through community, connection and lived-experience support.

WorkSec & PTSD Resurrected

WorkSec is proud to sponsor PTSD Resurrected, a Gold Coast-based Australian charity founded in 2017 by veteran Andy Cullen and his wife, Zoe. The organisation restores hope, healing and purpose to people impacted by trauma – including veterans, first responders and others living with PTSD, moral injury or life-changing adversity.

Through practical programs, peer support and community connection, PTSD Resurrected creates pathways to recovery and resilience. Our sponsorship helps ensure that more Australians can access life-changing trauma-recovery resources and find renewed strength in shared experience.

About PTSD Resurrected

PTSD Resurrected Inc. was established in 2017 after Andy’s 17-year Army career – and personal journey with PTSD – inspired a desire to support others walking a similar path. Together with Zoe, he built a community dedicated to restoring hope through lived experience, faith, and connection.

Originally focused on veterans and first responders, PTSD Resurrected now supports anyone affected by trauma, including those recovering from domestic violence, abuse, moral injury, illness or grief. Its flagship program, REBOOT Trauma Recovery, offers a structured, peer-led approach to healing.

Programs & Support

REBOOT Trauma Recovery Course

The REBOOT Trauma Recovery Course is PTSD Resurrected’s signature program – a 12-week, peer-led course helping participants process trauma, rebuild purpose and rediscover hope. It’s open to veterans, first responders and civilians alike, delivered both in person and online across Australia.

Peer Leadership & Community

Every course is facilitated by people with lived experience of trauma and recovery. This peer-led model creates trust, relatability and an environment where healing feels achievable. Participants gain not only tools but also a supportive community that endures long after the course ends.

Holistic, Inclusive Approach

PTSD Resurrected embraces a holistic view of recovery – addressing mind, body and spirit. The organisation works with individuals, families and partner groups to create sustainable healing, whether the trauma stems from service, violence, illness or personal loss.

Collaboration & Outreach

Through partnerships with other charities and organisations, PTSD Resurrected extends its reach across Australia. Collaborations with groups like At The Ark Inc. and other community networks ensure that trauma recovery resources are accessible to those who need them most.

Why WorkSec Supports PTSD Resurrected

At WorkSec, our focus on people, wellbeing and resilience extends beyond the workplace. PTSD Resurrected’s mission – to help individuals and families rebuild life after trauma – aligns deeply with our belief that true security includes psychological and emotional safety.

By sponsoring PTSD Resurrected, we contribute to expanding the reach of the REBOOT Trauma Recovery program and ensuring more Australians can access support, community and renewed purpose. We’re proud to stand alongside this organisation in its work to restore hope and rebuild lives.
